Adventures for the Home

After having spent the past 25 years living in Singapore, developing a passion for helping others new to Asia discover the beauty of pairing eastern and western design, it was always a dream to bring that passion home to New Zealand. Olio design is that dream.

Most of our pieces are original one offs and have been personally selected from a handful of trusted sources where relationships have been built over the past 20 years.

Northern China is ideal for producing furniture that is as durable as it is beautiful. The locally grown timber, skilled joinery techniques and talented artisans combine to create pieces that are adaptable, elegant and unique.
